Mr. Fix-It Branding
Branding, Naming, Print
Trust you can see from the curb.
One technician. One mascot. A brand that looked like it had been on the block for years.
Brandon H. spent years in the appliance repair trade, working alongside family. Then he went out on his own. He had the skills and the work ethic—what he didn't have was a name anyone recognized.
We teamed up with Brandon to build Mr. Fix-It: a sleeves-up, wrench-raised mascot and a full brand system that made a one-man shop look like a neighborhood institution. Within months, he ranked #1 on Google for his business name, collected a steady run of five-star reviews, and saw phone calls from Google more than double in a single month.
Small numbers. Big change for a business that started from zero.
The Challenge
No name. No trust. No starting point.
Brandon knew appliances. But on day one there were no reviews, no website, no domain—and in this trade, homeowners call the company with the wrapped van and the logo they've seen before. He needed a brand that looked established before he'd earned the reputation, with room to grow, all from a lean single-system budget.
The Insight
People don't hire an appliance company. They let a person into their kitchen. The brand needed a face—capable, a little old-school—so Brandon could walk up to the door already halfway trusted.

The Solution
Brandon chose the confident technician in Oxford and Yale blues, wrench raised—Mr. Fix-It. The mascot came in full-color, one-color, avatar and seal variants to flex across every surface.

We deployed the full kit: truck magnets and die-cut door hangers put the brand in the neighborhood from day one; embroidered polos and business cards made the person at the door match the mascot on the card. Online, callmrfix-it.com launched mobile-first—service-area pages for Tampa and Wesley Chapel, backed by a tuned Google Business Profile and monthly local SEO.

The Impact
From unknown to #1 in his own backyard
In the first couple of months, the numbers started moving—fast for a brand-new, one-man business with no reviews and no presence when we started. What matters is the direction: a name nobody knew became the one local homeowners found first and called.
Website clicks from his Google profile climbed 133%. Visits from organic search doubled, and the share of those visitors who actually engaged with the site jumped from 35% to 60%.
Stat callouts
+157% phone calls from Google Business Profile
+171% clicks from Google Search
+235% mobile visits—proof the mobile-first build was the right call
12 five-star reviews collected from June to October 2023. Every single one was five stars.
The proof is in the reviews
We built the brand on a promise—fast, reliable, personal. Then Brandon kept it, one service call at a time. His customers said it better than we could.
"Fantastic service! Brandon was professional and responsive. I admit I called some other repair places… all had answering services. And all of them wanted to schedule out a week just for the initial call. Brandon answered the phone personally." — Sam S.
"Called and he was here and had our freezer working within a[n] hour…" — Megan C.
"Stood by his work and responded quickly!" — Devon W.
"This business is fantastic. My freezer was leaking all over my kitchen this morning…" — Katelyn H.
"The technician Brandon came out close to 9pm to service my refrigerator…" — Michael T.
Closing
Brandon walked in with a trade, a work ethic and a business with no name behind it yet. We built the identity, the collateral, the website and the SEO foundation to make Mr. Fix-It a name people in Wesley Chapel and Tampa Bay could find and trust. Then Brandon did what he's always done—showed up, fixed things right and earned every five-star review himself. We gave the brand curb appeal. He gave it a reputation worth keeping.
