
Ferguson ‘Trade Explorers’ Activity Book
Developed a cast of engaging, retro-cartoon style characters for Ferguson’s ‘Trade Explorers’ kids’ activity kits that connects with associate and customer families while fostering interest in the trades. I designed and illustrated a series of friendly, vintage-inspired mascot characters representing various trade tools. The chosen retro aesthetic—characterized by clean outlines, expressive faces, and minimalist detail—created a fun and approachable visual language for the ‘Trade Explorers’ activity books and accompanying merchandise (stickers, hats, shirts). Deployed at events like Counter Days and Career Days, these materials provided a valuable, branded resource that playfully introduced children to the world of trades, aligning with Ferguson’s goals for brand awareness and community engagement.
